Minky was my first Italian Greyhound and the one that got me addicted to this fabulous breed. She is the sweetest girl and has a fantastic temperament. Minky was purchased as a pet owing to her erect ears, although she had been shown as a baby.

Initially I started doing obedience with her, but she became bored with it so after a few years we moved to agility and have never looked back. Minky really loved agility and was a great crowd pleaser at demonstrations. In 1997, she participated in the agility demonstration at Sydney Royal show and is the only IG to have ever made the demonstration team. She did attend a few trials but she went blind before receiving her title. Minky has done a lot of promotional work for the breed by attending pet expos and introducing herself to the crowd with lots of tummy rubs and iggy kisses which she never tires of.

At eleven years she is now completely blind and enjoys the life of an elderly couch potato.
