Shantiah was established in 1988.  I aim to breed dogs that are sound in body and temperament, capable of achieving in the show ring or as pets. Shantiah dogs are accomplished in conformation showing, obedience, agility, racing and coursing as well as being great bed buddies. ecialist judge and am currently studying to become a Group 1

 To date Shantiah is the home of 16 champions ( 10 homebred), one BIS BISS Grand Champion and the world's only Aust Grand Champion/ New Zealand Champion IG. All these dogs are owner handled. While breeding only one or two litters per year, I strive to improve this wonderful breed. I thank Wondoan Kennels for their help and guidance.

In 2004 I became an ANKC recognized Italian Greyhound Breed Specialist judge and am currently studying to become a Group 1 judge.
